Lots more to come
I've only managed 5 minutes sleep yet but hope to catch up on some stats and blogging before the sleep. We shall see.
I understand that the programme was subsidised by The department of Tourism to promote the event outside of the Isle of Man.
Its debatable as to how successful this has been. There was a plan for a travel agent to be allowed a maximum of 250 places in the event but hardly attracted any at all.
I think that there will be more pressure of the Department to spend money on TT entertainment than Parish Walk films.
Publisher of the www.manxathletics.com and www.parishwalk.com and associated blogs and social media.
I've been married to Marie for 32 years with two adult children. Robbie lives at the Nunnery Howe Autistic Centre and Ben is a doctor presently studying for a post graduate degree in Stockholm. Marie and I own and operate two Isle of Man self catering properties - www.murrayandmarie.com
My day job is as a director of Paicolex Trust Company (Isle of Man) Limited based at Ballasalla.
I've been Involved in athletics for more than 46 years but my aged legs no longer permit me to run around Douglas early in the morning as I did from 2008. Previously a race walker, marathon runner and athletics official.
