That has probably been the case for a few years but my latest stats back this up.
Of the 187 finishers (including the two over the time limit), only 50 were not veterans using the catergories of the race organisers.
Men 40 or over totalled 87
There were 42 men under 40
Women under 35 totalled 8
There were 50 women under 35
